We recently welcomed Health Minister Robin Swann to our premises at 26 Cross Street. During his visit the Minister met with SWELL committee members and volunteers and also met local people affected by cancer whom he heard of the benefits provided by SWELL.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Health Minister Robin Swann who allocated nearly £8m in support grants to a range of cancer charities in Northern Ireland.
SWELL was very fortunate to be one of the small cancer charities to benefit from the Department of Health Cancer Fund. The funding we received was instrumental in the charity securing premises and enabling us to provide counselling, palliative home therapy services and various workshops and activities.
