SWELL offer a professional counselling service for those who feel they would benefit from more in-depth support. Counselling provides the client with an opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings with a sensitive and responsive listener. Counselling can help people to come to terms with their own illness or that of a loved one.

Our Counsellors are experienced and fully qualified, they hold full accreditation with their professional body, or are currently working towards this. Our counselling staff are trained to support cancer patients, families and their carers.

Counselling sessions take place in a confidential and sensitive setting and for those clients who are too ill to attend the centre, counselling can be arranged within the comfort of their homes or by telephone.
